Mers Goodwill in Mississippi County

The Resource Center provides office space to organizations on a yearly contract. If interested in office space please contact

Housed in the MCCC Resource Center, Mers Goodwill provides assistance to

- Adult Dislocated workers and

- Youth Outreach Program

Salvation Army Mississippi County

The local Salvation Army Chapter for Mississippi County works hard each year to raise dollars for families in need.  The Christmas Campaign is the largest fundraiser for the county.  For more information on donating or volunteering please contact 573-683-7551. 

 

REMEMBER money given outside the county stays in the county given.  Make sure to give your money locally.

Child Sexual Abuse Training

Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children program trains and empowers parents, organizations, and other concerned adults to effectively prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

Senior Citizen Commodities Program

Seniors must register at the Caring Communities Center.  Qualifications for eligibility, Senior must live in the Mississippi County area, be 60 years of age and have limited income. Forms to register are available at the Center.  There are approximately 130 boxes distributed per month.  If the list is full new enrollees must be placed on a waiting list until opening occurs.
